It’s a bit hard to understand winter while living here in San Diego. We have had a week of 80 degree weather in January, so I’m having a hard time with these images of snow coming from other places. For instance, did you know that yesterday it was colder in Chicago than at the North Pole? That sounds pretty cold, to me.
Even better, it’s so cold right now that the canals have frozen over in Holland! Apparently that hasn’t happened in twelve years. When my grandparents were children, it happened every year. The change is apparently due to different weather conditions and water pollution. So I say boo to you, global warming!
